FAQs

Is Laurel Healing Center only for women?

We offer a women-only facility to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all women during this vulnerable time. Our space fosters connections among women who have encountered similar challenges and issues, which contributes to their recovery and overall well-being.

How long are treatment programs?

The length of treatment is fully dependent on the individual. Factors such as the severity of addiction, the type of substances involved, and other mental health issues can influence the length of treatment. We offer short-term and long-term solutions to ensure women receive adequate support. Our experienced counselors will help determine the recommended length of the program based on your progress and needs.

What types of substance use disorders do we treat?

At Laurel Healing Center, we help specialize in various substance use disorders including alcohol, cocaine, prescription drug, alcohol, opioid, meth, heroin, Adderall, and several other addictions. These disorders can have a major impact on your life, we are here to help provide you with the support you need during your recovery.

What are the levels of care at Laurel Healing Center?

We offer two treatment levels at Laurel Healing Center. Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is our higher level of care. Women are required to attend this program several times per week. We also offer an Outpatient Program (OP), which is our lower level of care. This program is a long-term rehab option that consists of therapy at a less frequent rate.

Is an Intensive Outpatient Program right for me?

IOP is an ideal option for women who have completed a detox program or are moving away from a Partial Care program. This program requires individual and group therapy several times a week. Our team may also recommend additional types of traditional or alternative therapies depending on the individual patient’s needs.

Is an Outpatient Program right for me?

OP is designed to allow women in recovery to get back to their normal lives. This program is designed to offer long-term support and guidance to women, so women get back a sense of normalcy without losing sight of their recovery. Women who want to return to work, school, or family responsibilities will be the ideal types of patients for outpatient treatment.

What types of therapy do we offer?

We offer various types of holistic therapies that help women overcome their withdrawal symptoms, identify deeper traumas, address their behaviors, and develop healthier lifestyles. Our center offers group therapy, individual therapy, trauma therapy, case management, and family therapy.

Do we offer any additional types of therapy?

Our clinic also offers alternative therapies in addition to traditional therapy. We offer EMDR therapy, Reiki, Hypnotherapy, and Meditation. These healing practices help women overcome obstacles on their healing journey and improve their overall well-being.
